Day Trip 2014 – Dandenongs

“Landscape photography is the supreme test of the photographer – and often the supreme disappointment. ”

? Ansel Adams

Early, early, oh so early. As always, mingling is the first thing on our agenda. Once everyone was adequately ready, we set off to Mt Dandenong. One group smuggled in some hot jam donuts, but not for everyone to share. A stern talking to is in order. BBQ was the first thing we partook in when we arrived – you know that old saying, got to have your sustenance.

We drove up to the mountain, walked down the arduous trek bustling with green as far as the eye could see. The clean air brought out some innovative modelling in our members, which lead us to find the lake and a little shed.

And if that wasn’t fun enough, we began wondering around. Had much fun with walkie talkies (technology, right?), to determine which MPC member could sing the best (I think we might need to hold a MPC singing competition soon). We returned to Clayton but in a drastic change of events, swapped the traditional post-daytrip dinner from Ping’s dumplings (we still love you Ping!) to the classic Vietnamese Pho.
